Setting Up Your Computer

The Quick Circuit controller connects to your computer through a USB 2.0/3.0 port. A reliable connection between the QCJ5 System and the computer’s USB port is essential for correct machine operation.

Setting Up Your QCJ5

Follow the steps below to connect the Quick Circuit QCJ5 to your computer.

Step 1: Remove the QCJ5 from the box according to Unpacking Instructions. Place all items on the workbench, side-by-side. Lift the machine by the bottom of the base only. Save all packing materials for your annual service.

Step 2: Hook up the Power Wires, Control Wiring, and Pneumatic Tubes to the QCJ5. Make sure the air hoses are pressurized. Do not connect the USB cable to the QCJ5

Step 3: Install the IsoPro software prior to plugging the controller in.

Step 4: Turn on the QCJ5 and plug in the USB cable provided in the box to a USB 2.0/3.0 port on your computer.

Step 5: Wait for Windows to lead the drivers. There are several: Quick Circuit Controller, Front Panel, JVision Camera, Internal Hub, IsoPro Software Key.

Step 6: After the drivers are loaded, you can start IsoPro software. Go to Mill => Initialize and your QCJ5 will initialize itself and place the spindle over the “Home Position.”
