Quick Laser TM machine by T-Tech

T-Tech, Inc. and uFab Unveil the Quick Laser ™ Circuit Board Printer

REVOLUTIONIZING RAPID PROTOTYPING

Driggs, Idaho, and Chicago, IL, USA — T-Tech, Inc., a global leader in rapid prototyping equipment, is excited to announce the launch of the Quick Laser™. This cutting-edge machine empowers engineers to swiftly create prototype circuit boards in a few hours compared to traditional lead times of weeks to months.

The Quick Laser™ is offered by T-Tech through a distribution partnership with uFab, the developer of the underlying laser-based PCB prototyping technology. Under the Quick Laser™ brand, T-Tech will bring this capability to customers seeking faster iteration cycles, simplified in-house prototyping, and a practical pathway toward domestic manufacturing workflows.

The Quick Laser™ provides a 125 mm × 125 mm (5.0” × 5.0”) work area and supports prototyping on almost all common PCB substrates including FR4, flex, ceramics, and more. The system utilizes a 20-micron, 15-watt laser beam and precision motion/optics to enable 2-mil minimum copper trace/space features, drilling, solder-masking, and more. The Quick Laser™ is fully self-contained, including a fume extractor with HEPA filtration to capture any particulates or off-gassing during processing.

“T-Tech, Inc. is thrilled to contribute to the reshoring of manufacturing in the USA with the Quick Laser”, said John Taylor, President of T-Tech, Inc. “This high-quality product expands on our 42 years of rapid prototyping software, enabling engineers to produce prototype circuit boards faster. Now you can manufacture ready-to-use circuits in just about one hour!

“uFab built this platform to make PCB iteration dramatically faster and more accessible,” said Tyler Richards, Founder of uFab. “Partnering with T-Tech allows us to scale distribution through a trusted name in prototyping and enables more people to build hardware with significantly shorter lead times at an affordable price. We’re very excited to see this tech being used to accelerate hardware innovation!”
